Space to host ‘Mecca’ of Asian nightlife
Space is set to host one of the oldest Asian clubs as a part of its new culture agenda. Zouk, based in down town Singapore, was voted as the 5th best club in the world by DJ Mag earlier this year and has been invited to host a night at the Ibiza club on Tuesday, 5 June.
Space had only last month hosted a night at Zouk as a part of their own world tour.
Zouk residents, djB and Eclipse, accompanied by the well-known Layo & Bushwaka with Radio Slave and Oscar Cano are all expected to perform.
The soundtrack will come from djB, one of Zouk’s oldest resident dj’s, returning to Space Ibiza after his debut last year. A multi-talented artist and versatile producer, moreover he shows a great affinity for playing large rooms and transmitting his tribal sound full of African beats, which always leave the audience wanting more. It’s not surprising therefore, that djB has been recognised as the best house DJ in Asia. On this occasion he will bring us a back 2 back with Eclipse, one of the freshest faces on the block in Singapore who is having a huge success after being voted best DJ in several specialised publications in Singapore and having released a mixed album compilation with Universal. Accompanying them will be three hotshots from the current techno and house scene: Layo & Bushwaka, Radio Slave and Oscar Cano.
