Ushuaia revels in its opening party glamour

Ushuaia Beach Hotel, celebrating just their second season in Ibiza, launched the 2012 season with back to back parties that saw both Fat Boy Slim and Luciano behind the decks and a fistful of eye candy for clubbers to lay their eyes on.

Filled with an air of aspiration and deep euphoria, the headline performances were supported by other greats including Groove Armada, Doorly, Alex Metric and Miike Snow. In addition to performances on stage, a troop of dancers and acrobatics entertained crowds with circus acts and original choreography aligned with an amazing visual and lighting display which illuminated the hotel and pool with an array of vibrant colours.

Amongst the thousands of guests who came to the hotel over the weekend were a number of celebrities. In addition to P-Diddy, the Hilton sisters, Jesse Metcalfe and James Blunt who all came to the hotel last year, the opening weekend was attended by Naomi Campbell and Tottenham Hotspur football player Emmanuel Adebayor, as well as other Spanish fashionistas including Gigi Sarasola, Arancha de Benito and designers Vicky Martín Berrocal and Javier Larraínzar.

The opening parties have already set the trend for a feast of parties over the summer with world renowned Djs holding weekly parties which include; F**ck Me I’m Famous by Cathy & David Guetta on Mondays, Luciano on Thursdays, Ushuaia Presents on Fridays and Pooldisco on Saturdays. Ushuaia will also be hosting an array of additional parties this summer including AVICII, Axwell, Debastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello.
